A Year In Review: 2023

Well, another year has come and gone, just like that! So much has happened in 2023, and looking back over the last year, I’m filled with admiration for my amazing team and a sense of accomplishment and perseverance during a very tough year. There are many things to reminisce about and highlight over the last year, so here are a few of our proudest accomplishments.

We have worked with some amazing clients over the last year, and we’re so happy that some of them have been able to move into their new dream homes, and some are so close to moving in that we can hardly wait to see them make their new spaces home again. New construction has taken up a fair amount of our time and resources, and we’re proud to have worked on projects from Langley to Squamish and everywhere in between. Each home has been a labour of love, and we are so happy with the results, as each home and project are unique to the clients and builders.

We are finally back at doing show homes for builders again, as there was a small hiatus during COVID (as houses sold themselves and there was no need for new show homes at that time). We are so excited to be back showcasing our work with builders and helping them create beautiful communities and new homes of all shapes and sizes. We are so happy to be able to line up quite a few more this coming year that we will feature later in the year. We love being able to work with our builders to create homes that buyers will love for years to come.

We have also welcomed a new associate to our team this past year, and we have one who has returned from maternity leave. We are so happy that she is back helping us with our design packages. We are expecting two other associates this month to be returning to the studio after their maternity leave, and we can’t wait to have the team all back working together. With the new additions to their families, we are excited to have them join our family. We have loved having them pop by the studio to keep in touch and to show us how they have grown over the last year. It is so exciting to see their beautiful faces, as baby visits are the highlight of our day.

I look back at 2023 with much gratitude and appreciation for all that my amazing team has put together, and all of their hard work and dedication to their jobs and careers is not going unnoticed. We have some very happy clients because of all of their hard work and commitment. The team at First Impression Designs has come together to make the company a success, and I appreciate all that they do. We have had some ups and downs, and through it all, they have persevered with humour, hard work, and dedication. It is a pleasure to work with such amazing people. 2024 has so many exciting possibilities, and we can’t wait to see what this new year brings. We look forward to seeing how it all unfolds, and we are anticipating some great projects ahead. We can’t wait to see what new projects come our way.
