Tile is one of those finishes that people feel a lot of pressure in choosing. We totally get it, it’s a lot more permanent than, let’s say, paint and would be a lot more time and money to re-do. There are so many finishes, materials, textures and colours, and let’s not forget to consider grout colour as well! The good news though? We’re here to help!
This week we are sharing a few of our go-to tile suppliers and what you can expect to see in their showrooms.
JULIAN TILES – HIGHEND AND SLAB OPTIONS
One of the industry leaders in quality, Julian Tile, has many high-end, yet affordable options. Their library isn’t as vast as some of their counterparts, but you are sure to find something you love. All shapes and sizes from small mosaics to large slabs, their showrooms in Langley and Burnaby are consumer friendly and easy to browse.

TIERRA SOL- NEUTRAL STONE LOOKS
Tierra Sol is one of our go-to suppliers when it comes to picking neutral marble and stone looks for our clients. Their selection of large format tiles are tried-and-true, must-haves for many of our clients. Not looking for a large format tile? They have lots of unique ceramic mosaics that will cover all your backslash needs. The Tierra Sol showroom is located in Burnaby and is well set up to allow for lots of browsing.

AMES – SLAB OPTIONS
Ames has been a staple in the tile industry for quite some time, their key to success is always keeping up with current trends and the needs of the industry. Also located in Burnaby, their showroom is easy to navigate and well stocked. They are very generous with allowing you to take samples to be able to get a feel for the tile in your own home; when it comes to finalizing a decision samples are key to getting an overall sense of your space.

OLYMPIA – FITS EVERY BUDGET
Olympia Tile offers a huge variety of tiles and shows them off in its large showroom in Burnaby. Their large selection offers any look you could think of, from real marble mosaics to wood textures to porcelain slabs. Any budget a client may have we can always find something perfect here, and their sales team is also so helpful!

FIFTH AND FIR – UNIQUE TILES
Named quite literally, as it is located on the corner of Fifth and Fir in Vancouver, this small but mighty showroom packs quite the punch. They have a substantial variety of unique tiles you won’t find anywhere else. Small-scale glass mosaics, encaustic concrete, real terrazzo and even large-scale options, for those who aren’t afraid to commit to something bold, are just some of the fun tile options you can find in this showroom.
