Patio Refresh

There have been some beautiful Summer-esque days lately – which means patio season! Patios are a perfect place to stretch your imagination and create the perfect space for you and your family. Your outdoor retreat should reflect how you want to spend the days in the sun. It could be a place to party with pops of colours, funky furniture and fun lighting to let the party carry on into the night. Or it could be a place of relaxation with lounge chairs, a fire pit with cosy conversation chairs, maybe even a water feature or two. Whatever style and lifestyle you may have there is a patio design out there for you; let us show you some patios that we hope inspire you!

Pops Of Colour

Fun, feminine, furniture paired with subtle pops of pink, these outdoor spaces are just asking for some gossip and mimosas. With perfect space saving layouts they are also great for small spaces (some of yours are small, very small). So getting inspired with space saving furniture and layouts is a must in the Greater Vancouver area.

Minimal Modern

Not a colour person? Try minimal, modern, furniture. Add subtle accents of black, and cosy elements to soften the feel. Blankets and cushions are what make these patios both upscale and comfortable.

Classic BC Views

We have so many properties with stunning views (how lucky are we?!). These patios show off views from the Gulf Islands and along our coastline. Glass railings and low barriers not breaking up sightlines let the natural beauty become the focal point.

Modern Pools

The pools with uneven tiles (normally in a bright blue colour) and large brown brick edges are gone. We are entering in to pool designs with sleek features and modern aesthetic, while also keeping safety top priority. This slim pool on the side of the property takes less yard space, maximizes views all while looking absolutely stunning! Pools in Vancouver are not always the most common, but done with an attention to detail and space saving ideas they can make Summer time that much more fun.

Outdoors Are For Eating

Outdoor dining with family and friends is a classic Summertime activity. Create a covered area to put chairs and a table, maybe add lighting with lanterns or string lights and you’re ready for your next dinner party.

Get Your Grill On

Two words outdoor kitchen. Upgrade your grilling to include counter space, a sink, mini fridge and a tv so you never have to go back inside. Outdoor kitchens have become one of the most requested additions from our clients. A covered space, ceiling mounted heaters and room for chairs and a table makes the outdoor kitchen an addition that can be used all year long.

A Vancouver Special

With limited outdoor space becoming commonplace in Greater Vancouver many builders and homeowners are looking to the sky to make their outdoor retreat. Rooftop decks are gaining popularity in our close quarter cities. Making the roof a comfortable place to visit is something that requires some small touches with great impacts. Make sure the flooring is comfortable and durable – outdoor rugs can also alter the ambience. Greenery is a must to break up any hard roughness from the rooftop. With lounge furniture, a bbq and dining set your roof can become the perfect outdoor living space.

Hopefully something sparked an idea and your patio will be ready for those sun filled pays. A retreat just steps from your home is what makes those lazy, hazy, days of Summer.

Happy Thursday!
